Our bio
SportsNews Ireland is an Irish owned website that was opened in late 2009 to offer sports fans in Ireland an alternative and independent sports dedicated website to keep them up to date with all the news from around the country.Who works with us.
As well as out team of journalists we carry blogs from leading Irish sports stars, as well as our Greenwatch feature that follows all our soccer and rugby players that ply their trade in Europe. We have around 20 people working on the site at any one time.
